Hi,i live in Ireland and i am 15 years of age.I will join the U.S Marines or the U.S Army in years to come or as soon as im 17.I was wondering,when my time in the Marines or Army is up would i be allowed to join the Police force and apply for SWAT?

Hello Shane,
Try to review prior "Q&A" on my site concerning this question. Much of what you seek is discussed in detail there.
What I suggest to you in addition, is to communicate with the Marine or Army recruiter, and see what the details are for a foreign national enlisting and what parameters exist after that service.
Also, pose the question to the U.S. INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) for details on post U.S. Military service opportunities.
You may also be able to get some information from the U.S. State Department there, at our Embassy.
You would be very wise, to ascertain all these issues prior to making any commitment for military service.
