Question
I am trying to become a Police Officer and had a question about drug usage.  I have used marijuana aprox. 50-75 times from the ages of 13-19, and also once when I was 20.  The thing is when I was 20 I was in the military.  I also use Duster a couple of times while in the military also. Its been 4 years now and was wondering how is that going to affect my B.I.

Answer
Hi Jason...

In the state of Maryland, anyway, you would be DQ due to drug useage.  Not sure about the state you are in, some states have a higher tolerance for drug useage before age 21, others do not.   You are going to have an uphill climb with this.

Best regards,
Jason
