I'm writing a crime novel set for the most part in Norfolk. However, I have a scene set in Amsterdam, with the local police. I think the Dutch have Inspectors and Constables, (it's been ages since there was a Van der Valk episode on TV!) but I wondered if you might know the Dutch police ranks, or have a colleague in Holland I might contact.
