Jason I will be 18 in about a month and a half. I live in Greenwood, Indiana. I've always been really interested in becoming a police officer, every since i was little. So, my question is: Where do I start>? I have my High School Diploma, my backround is great, and this is my dream. Can you help me>? Tell me the very first step and a few things i need to do. Then if I have anymore questions, I will come back and ask you.

Kristina, you have done a most important thing already...you have finished your high school work and it appears you are on the high end morally...keep away from people who do not have yours or their best interest in mind, away from drugs and think about going to college.  Most police applicants today have a college education...not absolutely necessary but in your favor.  I would suggest you try to find a law endorcement agency that allows ride-a-longs...these are great in that you can get a good feel about what the work involves and whether it is your cup of tea or not.  Hope this helps.
