Question
Hey jason,
So i passed my background and i got my job offer for LVMPD. I had my medical yesterday, and did excellent on all but one thing. The lung test where u blow into a tube and its hooked up to a computer and it records results. I guess they want you to be in the 90's and i could only do 75%. I guess it deals with lung capacity? Anyways im confused and worries by this mainly because i dont smoke and never have, i run about 5 times a week and each time i run its longer than the time before right now im running about 2.2miles. I also had a chest xray and it showed great big lungs with good lung capacity.. So now im worried that because i couldnt blow hard enough that i wont get accepted.. do you know anything about the medical to give me advice?  any help jason would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.
Anthony

Answer
Good deal, and congratulations!

The lung test shouldn't hold you up much, if you re-take it, my best suggestion to you is to keep blowing until you literally feel like you are going to "Fall over" LOL.  No kidding that's what I did.  Start with a huge breath, and just keep blowing....

Good luck!
