Hi
im 25 years old and really want a career move into law enforcement i currently live in england but my ultimate goal is to move to America and become a law enforcement officer.im not too sure which part of the U.S i want to be in but what i want to know is basically what i can do here in order to help me with my application?is there any links or websites you can recommend.many thanks

Thanks for the question!

First of all, congratulations on wanting to move to the United States, and for wanting to be a police officer.

You can look at just about any state Web Site and obtain information about links to law enforcement agencies within that particular state and some outside of the state.

I know in the state that I live(South Carolina)you are required to be a U. S. Citizen prior to becoming a police officer. I am not sure about other states.

You can look at: SCCJA.org for the requirements in South Carolina.
