fll that girl up with my favrite bullet

Answer
Rob,
I've never heard of a cop having a favorite bullet. The only exception, might be a projectile s/he was hit with, and it was kept for "luck."
I assume you are talking about a round that has not been fired yet. In this case, an officer may have a favorite round, ie., type of ammunition. Many officers prefer certain calibre over others, eg, 357 mag, 45, 9mm, 10mm, 38, etc  Also, some officers not only have a preferance to a specific caliber, but also the strength of the round, which is measured by the grains of powder (more grains, more bang)Some even prefer to load their own bullets, and make what is called a "hot round" which has more grains than conventional retail rounds. However, anything other than department issue, or dept. approved ammo, exposes/expands the liability window of the officer.
Maybe what you seek, is a metaphore, akin to Cupid's arrow to a heart?
Hope this has been a little helpful,
good luck.
