Question
I am a retired police officer.  I had to retire because of an on-duty injury.  We recently lost an officer in the line of duty and I wanted to wear my uniform to show my respect and because they are my brothers in blue.  I would like to design a "retired officer's uniform".  One that would be respectfull, but at the same time would not portray us as "active". Any suggestions?

Answer
I really don't have any suggestions as to the design of a uniform. I have been to some funerals since my retirement and have worn my badge on the outside of my jacket. Also you may want to ask your department about being able to wear your uniform with a retired patch and maybe a different color shirt or something like that.Wish I could be of more help.
