Question
i don't want to be a police officer cause i do want to  physically run after nobody. but i want to go into the field what do you suggest as a career and what is the salary like?

Answer
Deanna,

Thanks for the question.

The law enforcement career field is wide open, depending on what you want to do. If you do not wish to be a street police officer, there are positions like: corrections, court security, forensics, lawyers, and etc.

Again, it all depends on what you want to do as a career. If you don't want to "run", being a police officer is not up your alley because eventually you will have to run after someone.

Good luck!
