Question
I attend vincennes university. I am studying law enforcement right now. Im going into my second year next fall. Earlier this year I was given a contributing to minors citation. I wasnt arrested and I was able to get the charge deffered. The length of the probabation was only 6 months and it didnt require going to a probation officer it just required I attend a class on drugs and alcohol. Since this has happend I am wondering what I should do now. Should I continue with my law enforcement career or just look to doing something else.

Answer
Mike:

Don't sweat it.  This is a minor blip on the radar screen; I assume it's a  "You bought beer for someone under 21" ticket.  Just be honest about it when you are asked, and take it from there.  Not a career killer by any means.

Best Regards,

Jason
