I also think that if you are interested in the swat career than you should check out the book, SWAT For Dummies. I did, and it changed my life. I also share interests in orange pealing. If you set your mind to it, you can peel any orange.... no matter how complicating it can be.



     p.s. bananas are a great choice too.

Very well said Loren.  I have been a police officer for about eleven years now and have always been interested in SWAT.  However the departments I worked for didn't always have a "outfit" that I wanted to be a part of.  Now I've been working in a city with the population of about 70,000 and I'm pretty impressed with the equipment and the officers on swat.  The department is actually having tryouts in two weeks and I'm going to give it a shot. I'm not concerned to much about the physical demands nor am I concerned about firearms qualifications.  However I am concerned about the interview process.  During my brainstorm of possible interview discussions I thought I'd give Google a shot.  I was simply impressed by what you had to say and thought I'd let you know.
