Question
can you become a police officer if your family have felonyes.

Thanks for the question!
As long as you don't have any convictions or arrests of crimes of moral turpitude, you should not have a problem getting hired, and as long as your background investigation does not reveal anything detrimental.
Some departments may also frown on you having associations with persons that have criminal records or persons that are known criminals.
I would ask a local law enforcement recruiter in your area or whatever agency you are planning on applying with.
