Question
hi Jason,

my name is Sharon Greish and I'm 19 years old. I just graduated from high school in 2006. I'm trying to become an aspca officer but I'm not sure on what it is that i need to do. Do I have to take a police course in collage or a class? Do i have to be certified as a police officer first or do i have to be a police officer before i can become an aspca officer?  What kind of education would i need to becoming an aspca officer? Please get back to me as soon as you can thank you for your time.

Answer
Sharon:

It depends on the state you are in.  Most places don't require prior police experience or law enforcement classes to do ASPCA.  You might check on that particular website, or your local Animal Control site to find out what the qualifications are, exactly, and when they are hiring.  A high school diploma is usually all that is required.
