hello my name is Allen, I am 17 years of age i am almost out of high school. I have been planning a career for about 6 years to being in SWAT, I was wondering if anyone could give me any information on how to start this career. I was honestly thinking aobout going through the military police corp. I dont know if that gets me to join SWAT. I am very curious of the requirements that is needed to join. I think you for your time in to reading this, It would be an honor if you would right back with some answers, think you for your time.

Hi,

SWAT is just a specialist department within a certain police force. The usual career progression is that you firstly have to join the police first, then after a few years you can apply to join SWAT. I do not know the full requirements or recruitment procedures, you would have to speak to a US police force to find out what those are.
