Question
I just wanted to thank you again for such useful information.  Yes, I am writing a story, however, she is NOT a spy.  Oddly enough the story is very loosely based on my grandmother:)  However, as she is not here to ask directly....

Anyhow, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Answer
Hey Dawn,
Good luck on you story. You may want to try FOI (freedom of information) archives on your Grandmother. Include the State Department, DoD, DoA, etc, and primarily, FBI and INS.
You may also get some idea structure from reading about the famous Chef Julia Child, who was in fact a spy, and supervisor of other WW2 spys. She is/was a fantastic gal and Patriot.
regards,
loren
