Question
Can you please advise me on how I can pursue a career in teaching? I am an Irish man married to an american citizen. I hold a business degree in management and marketing.

I live in New York.

Many thanks,

Robert

Answer
Dear Robert,

You don't say what you would like to teach or to whom.  Are you thinking of college, high school, elementary or junior high?  You'd have to get a credential based on your preference.  Have you had any experience in any kind of teaching?  Do you want to teach at a public or private school?  I've done all of my teaching in California, but I have a nephew who is teaching in New York right now.  Let me know your particulars, and I can give you a better response.

Yours,
Bonnie
