Question
Have you heard of these temperature scales (Rankine, Delisle, Newton, Réaumur, Rømer) before you saw this website?  Do most teachers know these yes or no?  http://temperature-scales.flippertv.com

Answer
No, most teachers do NOT know these temperature scales! Why? Because, in general, individuals know the temperature scales that they need to know. Why bother with some obscure scale you do not need or will never use? Only Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin are generally used frequently enough [in the US] to be understood by most of us.
