Question -
I have a question but I sort of have to tell the story behind it. Several years ago I decided after I left college that I wanted to become an elementary school teacher.  After looking into my options at the time the only thing I go do was go lateral entry with businesses and marketing education.  I am now a fully licensed educator who has been in the classroom for 7 years. In my state they changed the licensing laws I can now take any subject area from the Praxis and I can then add that area onto my teaching certificate.  I double checked with DPI and my county’s licensure office and am taking the two tests I need.  What do I need to really study to pass this test?  I have both Praxis series books and some of the information I need I am unsure where to find it…..is there a online site or student teacher resource page I can go to?   HELP

Hi there,

I am not sure that I understand your question. What level are you teaching? What certifications are you adding on to your certificate? What state are you in? Could you clarify please? Thank you!!

Answer
Ok, I think I'm following you now. If you need to find answers to the General Teaching Certification exam, there are TONS Of books that can give you sample questions and tips to pass. Check out Amazon.com or Barnesandnoble.com. Now the FL elementary test I  have to tell you was a breeze. It was mostly common sense type questions. I wouldn't worry too much about the elementary test. Let me know if I can help you any further, and buy some test prep books!
