Question
I teach English in a public highschool and I have problems in teaching listening. Can you help me, please?

Answer
Dear Laura,

Oops!  Please accept my apologies.  If I don't answer questions the day they come they seem to get buried in the 101 other things I'm trying to get done each day.

You don't give me many details here - what grade?  English as a second language or regular English?  College bound kids or regular, basic-ed kids?  Do they not listen to anything you teach or just assignments, discussions, etc?

What topics are you covering?  Are you reading novels, learning grammar, working on writing skills and vocabulary development ... ?

With a bit more information I might be able to give you a few suggestions that might help.
