I am considering teaching as a future profession and i was wondering generally how much money do physical education teachers make at the highschool level?

Answer
Teaching salaries vary enormously across the country. My sister lives in rural Colorado where starting salaries are 23-25K with a top in the low 40K's. I, on the other hand live in central New Jersey where starting salaries are near 40K and salaries top out around 90K. Keep in mind, however, that the cost of living is MUCH higher here in New Jersey! [My property taxes are >9K per year!]
