Hi

I am a builder and am just getting into the world of technology so my products for my business generally include

Carpet, timber, laminate, rugs, vinyl and vinyl tiles to give customers the right flooring solutions to their home.

My questoin is other than the above can you help me come up with key words that I can incorporate into my website search engine optimization (not a techincal questoin) just look at ideas from another perspective.

Hi Ray,

Many thanks for your question and my apologies for the delay in getting back to you on this.  Keywords are a very tricky thing and the one thing I would suggest is that you input your chosen keywords into the Adwords keyword tool that is available from Google as this will give you a number of variations for your chosen keywords that you can use.  You can also break down your services to get more specific keywords as well.  I usually find that if you put yourself into your customers shoes and think about what they would type into Google if looking for the type of services you offer that this will help you to come up with some more keywords.  

You have stated that you are a builder so I would also suggest that you use location specific keywords to further target your audience eg, New Zealand Builder, of your city then builder after it.
