QUESTION: I am looking for a career in grant writing.can you suggest me a great book to read for grant writing to excel in this field?

Many thanks for your question in relation to grant writing.  When it comes to grant writing I would definitely recommend that you have a number of books at your disposal.  These will be essential when creating proposals that really work.  There are a large number of great websites about grant writing but when it comes to acutally writing up your proposals it works better if you have some books to hand.  Amazon is great for finding books and I would recommend having a number of them.

I have one more query that if I work for a organization that is not a non profit one ,then do you think this experienece will be considerd by my potential employers in future?Should I work for for such a organization?
Does it help in my career as a grant writer?

Hi Bhawna,

Any experience that you get will be beneficial in the future even if it is for a non profit organisation.  Working with this group will also help to grow your grant writing skills and like any freelance writing career the more you do the more experience you will get.  Any experience that you can get will be looked at by potential employers.
