Question I am trying to write articles for a design magazine. The question I was hoping for advice is how to get people who are not design students to read articles on design. How or what can i do to attract people other than design students to pick up a design magazine?
Thanks!
Sue
Answer Hi Sue,
Congratulations on taking on the challenge of writing for magazines and good luck with that. When you say you want to get additional people and not just design students to read a design magazine I am really not sure what you mean. If you are writing articles for a design magazine then they will already have determined their market audience and this is not something that you can change. You could try to focus your design related articles on a general audience but like I said it really is down to the editor and owner of the magazine you are writing for to determine their target audience.
