Hello Amanda. My name is Kristine. I am writing you this message hoping that you can help me. Yes, it does have to do with writing. I am a good writer but sometimes I don't know how to put it into words if you know what I mean. In my case, I am assigned to write a welcome speech for my church's 71st anniversary and my mind has went blank. May you please help me because I really need it.

Hi Kristine,

Thanks for your question. While I can't give you a speech I can give you a few pointers.  You probably know in your head what you would like to say about your church and a good way to get this down onto paper is to do it in notes or bullet points.  That way you can then go back over it and form the notes and bullet points into sentences and paragraphs.  Even a couple of words put down on paper can help.  You can go back over your notes as often as you need until you have exactly what you want.  The main thing is to start by putting something down because you can edit and rewrite then.
