Question
Hello this might not be the right place to ask this, but I am currently a college student and looking to major in B.A. In English-Literature. I am hesitating though because I'm not sure what careers, or job opportunities await me now. I would like to attend graduate school but that's another chunk of money I will have to fork out, but first I need a job. What are your thoughts and experience's after you graduated and can you offer any tips and advice job search wise for a graduate with a B.A. In English Lit. Again I apologize in advance if you don't answer these type of questions.

Answer
Hi Romain -
A Masters in English Literature will potentially pave the way for a teaching job.
A BA in English will bolster any job applications but probably won't open any doors.
My advice on job search would be based on your geographical location, other interests and connections.

Best,
Greg
