HI
I hope u can help me with this since there wasn't any subject under caribbean clothing, i took a chance to ask you. I want to know if there is any special clothes exist for carribean to were? and if there is, do they have any name for it? what is the history behind their clothing? is it more from the Aferican culture or Spanish culture? if you know how was the Aferican's clothes made long time ago? and how was spanish's clothes made long time ago? what is the different from their clothes now compare to years ago? ( historicaly)

Hello,
There is no special clothes worn in the Caribbean, mostly, clothing was based on spanish/european fashion.

Clothing fabricaton based on needle and thread (by hand) was the way clothing was confectioned.

I would say that the main difference between old methods and new technology clothes is that clothes were made to fit the individual whose clothes were being confectioned while today it's either small-medium or large.

The vas majority of people today have no idea of how tailor made clothes feel in terms of confort and fit.

A quality downgrade of modernism....
