Answer
Hi Jason,

I am a cook by inspiration not profession.

My interest in cooking begun as a means to make sure my meals were always to the highest standards regardless of my circumstances.

Eventually it became hosting at my home and in different countries. I have traveled and lived in several countries for over half of my lifetime.

I come from a family of diplomats.

By profession, I am a zoologist/senior executive for a Medical Device Co. and do recommend you choose your career based on the intensity of love you feel for this activity.

Don't let anyone convince you of going into a career for other reasons than your genuine interest and love for it and what you can share with others through your career.

Regards and good luck
