In the past couple years,our family has visited the Mexican riviera and Disneyworld. They were both inclusive packages.
Nice but pretty expensive.
I would like to get away again this winter,maybe just my wife and I,no kids (they can take care of themselves),for a second honeymoon.
I dont really care where I go as long as its hot (we live in western Canada).
I was thinking somewhere in the Caribbean. Just a week somewhere warm at a hotel within walking distance of a beach.We would buy our meals at the hotel or stock a fridge. Keeping the cost dowm is key.
Can you suggest anywhere? I am not comfortable doing this stuff online yet (maybe I should?), would prefer to go through CAA (AAA).

I am going to suggest the Dominican Republic, it is always warm, beautiful beaches & affordable. Jamaica is also a great option.
That being said, the airfare is what will drive up the cost of this trip. Flying from western Canada will not be cheap.
I would recommend Hawaii for less expensive flights but everything has sky rocketed over there in the past few months. You may want to consider the Mexican Riviera again as air may be the most reasonable to that destination.
Determine your bottom line budget for air, hotel, food, etc. If you would like, I can give you a couple of price quotes for resorts in the D.R & Jamaica. I will need your travel dates, departure city & your budget price, you can them take my quote & check with CAA & compare packages, prices. :)
