Question
My wife and I would like to retire to a great life in the Carribean. We are looking for somewhere where it:
-is safe
-U.S. friendly
-reasonable cost of living/taxes, etc.

What guidance can you provide?
Thanks,
Ron

Answer
What a great life that will be... I do not know too much about living in the Caribbean,But I spoke to a few people who do live on the Islands from here..Not too difficult But you would have to go thru the Consulate from that Island... My suggestion would be US Virgin Islands,Like St.Thomas ,St Croix, They are part of of US territory.Puerto Rico is another option..
Both are safe and  US friendly .
I hope this helps..
I wish you all the best...

Sincerely,
Diane
