Caribbean for Visitors/travel

Question
Hi, John,
Your response to Marc was some of the most informative I've found.  I'm in a similar situation, hoping to eventually relocate to the Caribbean.  Years ago I lived in Puerto Rico, and have visited Nassau Paradise Island via yacht several twice.  Currently, I'm interested in finding a small cruise experience that will expose me to some of the less tourist invaded islands.  Can you recommend such a cruise?
Thanks! Terri

Answer
Hi Terri...I do have one place that I think of quite often that I think is a phenomenal place in the Caribbean to relocate. Off the coast of St.Maarten is an island called Anguilla. It is very charming with all the infrastructure you need to live comfortably. When my wife and I visit St. Maarten, we always take a water taxi to Anguilla. It has it's touristy flavor, but it also has it's less inhibited areas as well. Check it out on line and get back to me with your feedback. Then, if it is not to your liking, I will recommend a few others. However, I think you will find that Anguilla is what you are searching for.
