Hello,

My fiance and I are planning a honeymoon and would love to go to the caribbean.  The trip would be Dec 16-24ish.  We are on a very tight budget and have no idea where to start looking.  We would like to avoid "tourist traps" and mobs of people and prefer more seclusion and quant lodging.  We enjoy nature, snorkeling, and nice beaches.  Any suggestions?

Congratulations on your engagement!
There are wonderful places throughout the Caribbean for a honeymoon.
The 1st place that comes to mind is Costa Rica or Jamaica.
Costa Rica is beautiful beyond description, you can stay in an area with great beaches, day trips to the rainforest & volcano. The canopy tours are very popular for a bit of adventure!
The Negril area of Jamaica is beautiful, with fantastic beaches & wonderful mountain views. There are numerous budget properties throughout Jamaica.
