Hi,
 I am planning a trip to the carribean on the first week of january. I am concerned about weather conditions and have not really picked a precise destinationm. I am thinking about Grand cayman and Belize. I am looking for great beaches, water sports and comfort. Any suggestions for a 4 or 5 day stay????

Hello Gino,

No need to worry about the weather, it should be beautiful pretty much anywhere you go! The wort you should expect would be some wind, maybe an occasional shower, temps should range from mid 60's to mid 80's :)

Grand Cayman & Belize are both great choices, with Grand Cayman typically being in the higher price range.
For Belize, the outer islands may be a place you would really enjoy. Blackbird Caye Hotel comes to mind with good reviews from clients ( I have not been to Belize myself )
Grand Cayman has amazing beaches, snorkeling, etc. I have stayed at the Westin, it was a great experience!
Personally, I am a big fan of the Dominican Republic, the beaches are beautiful ( some of the best in the Caribbean) & the prices are very good, especially for the 1st week of January, there are some great deals available!
