Question
We are taking a cruise to Western Caribbean either beginning of Nov or late Nov. Will the weather be better first part or latter part of Nov. or same?

Thanks,
Kim

Answer
Hi Kim...Early November is the very tale end of hurricane season in the Caribbean. This doesn't necessarily mean that you will have bad weather in early November. Also, if by chance you are sailing during inclement weather the Captain will change course to miss it. The cruise line has a responsibility to maintain safe passage for all pax and staff. I wouldn't fuss over early or late November weather. I've sailed at both times and we have had teriffic weather. If you were cruising in June - October then I would say your risk of hurricane is greater, but even during hurricane season, people have been said to have a great week of sailing. Its hit or miss during hurricane season and the prices are much cheaper and more inviting. I strictly cruise during peak season (High Season) which is December - May. Better weather and the seas are much calmer. We're leaving for a cruise next week on the Crown Princess (Southern Caribbean) and we're booked for another in April. You will have a great time. "BON VOYAGE"!!!
