Question
Our flight arrives in Miami fairly early (9a.m) and the ship doesn't leave until 4p.m.  Will we be able to check-in our luggage and go see a little bit of Miami before we board ourselves for our trip?

Answer
Hi there and welcome to the FunShips of Carnival Cruiseline !

Normal embarkation begins approx. 11am - 12 noon. Its all aboard NO LATER than 1:30pm due to new requirements by the TSA, so this will not leave you much time to see the sights of Miami unfortunately. By the time you get your luggage and transfer to the ship, and if no delays at airport, you should be to the ship by 10ish.....and many times you will get to board a little earlier than the norm, if the ship clears customs quickly and is ready for new passengers to board. Keep in mind that you will not be able to get to your stateroom until usually approx. 1pm, but can still get accustomed to the ship, enjoy a great lunch on the Lido deck and get ready to cruise !!!

I hope your cruise is a wonderful experience for you and your travelling companions ! Travel Safe  : )
