Expert: Linda Date: 5/1/2008 Subject: Carnival Victory, Eastern Carribean cruise
Question Hi Linda, I would like to know what can I expect of Carnival "Victory", I sailed on Carnival "Sensation"/ Dec '07 and it was awful. We usually sail Royal Carribean(which I LOVE) but my cousin does the booking and chose Carnival this year. I'm not looking forward to it after the Dec. disater but this yr we're taking the kids so I wanted my children to be able to take their first cruise with their cousins.

With kids you'll be happy with carnival, though like you, I'm a loyal fan of RCCL, BUT have had great cruises with Carnival. the Victory is new, lots of open spaces, multiple choices for kids to eat...pizza is a real favorite place. Carnival does a great job with the kids too, so I'm sure they'll be happy. RCCL does better with the teens, but Carnival has it over RCCL for the younger kids.
