Question
Hi Linda, I would like to know what can I expect of Carnival "Victory", I sailed on Carnival "Sensation"/ Dec '07 and it was awful. We usually sail Royal Carribean(which I LOVE) but my cousin does the booking and chose Carnival this year. I'm not looking forward to it after the Dec. disater but this yr we're taking the kids so I wanted my children to be able to take their first cruise with their cousins.

Answer
Rest and relax!  Nicole the Victory is NOTHING like the Sensation!
With kids you'll be happy with carnival, though like you, I'm a loyal fan of RCCL, BUT have had great cruises with Carnival.  the Victory is new, lots of open spaces, multiple choices for kids to eat...pizza is a real favorite place.  Carnival does a great job with the kids too, so I'm sure they'll be happy.  RCCL does better with the teens, but Carnival has it over RCCL for the younger kids.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Linda
