Hello. I will be traveling on the Valor on Oct. 5th and was curious if there was a hair dryer in the room. It has been two years since my last sailing and I cannot remember. Also, do you know what items Carnival usually provides as bathroom amenities? I know last time they had rasors, toothpaste, and some other items -- I wanted to be able to pack as few things as possible. Thanks!

Hi there.... Valor is a wonderful ship and Ihad the pleasure of sailing aboard her 6 months ago with clients.... you are in for a treat for certain !

Yes, there is a hair dryer provided in your stateroom however if you have long or thick hair, because of its low wattage, you may want to consider bringing your own that you are more comfortable using ! Also, I would urge you to bring a "power strip" so you will have more outlets to use at one time if needed i.e. curling irons, razors, ipods, etc.... You will also get a bag of goodies for ammenities in your bathroom as well....toothpaste, razors, lotion, energy drinks, etc.....Personally I bring my own shampoo and conditioner that I am used to, but I leave the lotions and toothpaste at home ! You can always stop at a store in a port of call if the items provided don't meet your needs.
