Hi Linda,

Room #: 7345
Location: Empress Deck, Inside, Mid, Starboard

I'm considering booking the above cabin on the Carnival Liberty, and according the deck map, the cabin is near the stairs and the elevator.  Do you know, or have you heard, whether or not occupants of this cabin would be disturbed by noise from people going up and down the stairs and/or noise from the mechanical workings of the elevator?

I don't know of anyone that had that identical cabin, but we have had several of our cabins right by the elevator.  The elevator didn't bother us, but occasionally people would be a bit loud saying goodnight or whatever.  Then again, we had the same thing with people walking by your cabin and speaking also.

Most are considerate of others....we've had cabins all over the ship on 23 cruises and never had noise from anything be an issue.

You might post this question on cruisecritic.com.  Great site, free to join, just go to the boards section for Carnival and you can post your question....someone might have had that same cabin.  I don't think you'll be bothered though by the noise.
