Question
We are going on an Eastern Carribean cruise March, 14 and I was just told my 15 year old daughter may need a photo ID. Can you tell me if this is true or not? It will almost be impossible for me to get this because she does not have a social security card. Thank for your help!!

Answer
Hi There... minors 16 years and older are required to have a photo ID, but your daughter will be fine. Don't forget she will need her birth certificate (original or certified, either must have a raised seal) in order to board the ship. You will certainly want to get her a photo ID in the near future and can be obtained usually from a DL bureau and is sufficient as a gov't issued photo ID for future travel via air or cruise.

Have a GREAT CRUISE..... what ship are you sailing on ?
