Hi, Linda, I arrive with my fam.(tot: 5 ad.+2ch.7 and 4y) We arrive in Miami on Apr.9, 09 Take an Avisrental from  airp. to Baymont Inn Miami Airp. West. On Apr. 11 we go on Carnival Liberty, so we return the car at the aip. Do you advise to book a shuttle to the Port Of Miami or can we just wait outside the baggage claim area for one to come by???

Lucille, you can walk with your luggage to the pick up center for the shuttles, you don't need to book ahead of time.  The other alternative would be to have one of the adults drop off the kids and other adults at the port, then that person drive and drop off the rental car at the airport.  You could then catch a taxi for less than the shuttle will cost for each of you.  You can then meet up in the reception area at Carnival and either wait till that person gets there, or check in and meet someplace on the ship.

The shuttle charges per person, around $12.50 (last I checked) so the above would be less hassle with the kids, luggage and money....just a thought.
