Question
We have been told that we have been upgraded from a 4A to a 4B what's the difference between the two please?

Answer
sharon, I can give you some general information.  The cabin catagories determine the price of the cruise and usually the more central cabins and cabins closer to the middle of the ship are more costly.

Sharon, for you to determine if you want this upgrade, log onto the Carnival web site, then chose Victory, then deck plans.  Locate your ORIGINAL cabin number, then locate your NEW cabin number.  Determine from that if you want your new cabin.  What to look for?  OK, see what is ABOVE your cabin, (if it was a disco for instance) you may want to decline the upgrade.

Just because you have an upgrade doesn't always mean a lot.  The cabins are the same size, it's all in the deck and in the cabin location.

The only cabins we do NOT like are those that are within 1 or 2 cabins away from elevators, and we don't like being the deck under the Lido deck beneath the restaurant.

I hope this gives you the information  you need to determine if you'd like to take advantage of this upgrade.  If NOT then call your travel agent and decline the upgrade or state you don't want THAT cabin.

Linda, happy cruising Sharon
