Question
Please could you tell me if the rollaway beds on carnival are comfortable and big enough and wide enough for an average adult to sleep on?
we have booked a suite cat.11 on victory and didn't realize that the staterooms only sleep 3 passengers so we have to have a rollaway bed or change to a balcony stateroom which would you do?
many thanks

Answer
Juliette,

If it was up to me I would switch to a balcony and here are my reasons:

The rollaway when it's in the cabin takes up a lot of room, not easy to get around the cabin when the rollaway is down.

They will take the rollaway and fold it up during the day, but you're putting up with it being down till the room steward comes to fold it up.

The balcony rooms give some more space for 2 or people to go when the other 2 may be dressing, or taking a shower; your cabin won't feel as small with the big windows and ability to get outside and a bit of privacy.

It's really peaceful at times to just sit on the balcony and read or have a drink and watch coming in or leaving a port.

Just my opinion, but I think you'll be happier in a balcony with 4 people sailing
