Question Hi Curtis,
My husband and I have always been interested in taking a cruise and are now seriously considering it. Do you have a favorite Line, one that you have had good success with?
We haven't decided where to go but we are interested in the trip up to Alaska and also to the Caribbean. We need something reasonable in cost?
Also are you aware of any sources taht rate the different Cruise Lines. I read an article recently but can't remember where I saw it.

I think you will be very pleased with what a cruise can offer you. Just think.... unpack one time and visit various exotic ports of call while calling your ship home !
Caribbean or Alaska are wonderful starts for a cruise. If Alaska, you will need to sail May - Sept. of any year for that season. Caribbean YEAR ROUND. But if looking for the lower fares.,... Oct. - Jan. for the caribbean (remember though you will be in hurricane season during this period and also that time frame does not include holiday sailings which carry a higher fare). For Alaska.... Early May and Late Sept. will offer the better deals, but it can be rainy and cold in that time frame.
Cruiselines have specifics for passengers of all ages. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. First thing to do is talk to a travel professional and advise them of your likes and dislikes so as to better fit you for the purrrrrrrrrrrrfect cruise/cruiseline ! Age is a determining factor as some cruiselines cater to Seniors more than others. USUALLY Either Princess, Celebrity or Royal Caribbean will fit most passengers needs with Holland America catering to a slightly older passenger.You may also consider Carnival Cruiselines too.
I would suggest going to various cruiseline websites and see what they have to offer and which meets your wants and needs.
