 I am the President of the National Conference of Puerto Rican Women - NYC Chapter.  We want to sail out of San Juan around Nov 8th 2004.  The group will be a minimum of 200.  We have 11 chapters around the states.  This is our annual national convention conference.  We want a ship that has excellent cuisine, great music, preferably latin or else jazz.  a ship that has balcony preferably and of course great discount rate.  We have women coming in from all over the States.  Thank you.

Hi Michelle.... well what a woderful way to join all the women together than on a cruise to the caribbean !

Being that this message comes from the Carnival Cruiseline board, I am thinking you should look at the Carnival "Destiny" out of San Juan on November 7, 2004 sailing to St. Thomas, Martinique, Barbados, Aruba and two FuN days at sea !

Carnival and this ship (which I have sailed on with clients in the past) offer you HIGH ENERGY nightlife, Disco, balcony accommodations, good service and meals.

Of course their are other cruiselines to consider, but of the choices, I would suggest Royal Caribbean (Adventure of the Seas), and Celebrity Cruiselines (Constellation).

Because of the size of your group, you would of course be provided with group discount rates whoever you choose to book your cruise with.

I would suggest going to local travel agencies and picking up some brochures of the above cruiselines and look at the itineraries, accommodations, service, entertainment and meals each ship offers. After that, select the ship and sail date and let the research begin !

The ships I mention above I would rate as below:

1st - Adventure of the Seas
2nd - Constellation
3d  - Destiny

Adventure of the Sea I place on top of the list because the ship is probably just the perfect niche for what you are looking for. The Constellation, willl offer everything you are looking for, but the entertainment may not be as energetic as you are looking for compared to the Adventure of the Seas. The Destiny....I think they will have everything you need in a cruise except for the foood and service will be less quality than the other two.

These are my opinions based on my cruise experience and sailings on all.

I am happy to research this for you when you come up with a specific date, cruiseline, ship and type of stateroom accommodations required (inside, oceanview, balcony,mini suite, etc....), # of passengers in each stateroom(s)and if you will require airfare thru the cruiseline and if so, from what gateways.
