Carnival/Iron

Question
Can I take an iron on board the ship?

Answer
Yes, you can take an iron on board.  Check first with the cruise lines; many have a laundry room with ironing boards and irons.  The problem with taking your own is trying to find a place in the cabin that you can iron and that the iron cord stretches to.  We've found that if you hang the wrinkled item on a hanger in the bathroom while you take a shower, most wrinkle come out...unless it's linen or silk.

I try to pack clothes that are knits or pack shirts and blouses in the hanging bag.  Sometimes it's just less hassle to give it to your room steward in the morning and he'll return it at night.

But check your floor plan and see if there is a laundry room first.

Enjoy your cruise!
