Question
I would like to know how much it will cost for me and my family 2 adults 1- 3 year old child to get from the Miami Airport to the Miami Seaport 1 way? What is our best low cost option cab, shuttle service, or something like a sedan service and do you have any recommendations or at least things to look out for as I don't wont to be taken for a "ride" We will arrive 12-2-07 on AA and cruise with Carnival on the Valor. :-)  THANK YOU

Answer
David, you are about 15 min from the airport to the docks.  With the 3 of you, take a cab.  Price is the same no matter how many are in the cab; shuttle service charges $12.50 per person and you must wait till the shuttle is full to leave; plus you're really crammed in because of the luggage. Sedan service will cost you around $60.00, not worth the money for the short ride. The only cabs allowed in Miami are our licensed ones; you will see printed at the airport how much the fare is.  I think it's around $25.00 one way plus tip.

Enjoy your cruise!
