Question
Hi Linda, I am considering having a cruise with yourselves departing from Miami on 19th March 2006. My flight arrives at Miami airport at 12.45pm, have I enough time to get to the ship please ? I am told the last boarding time is 3.30pm is this correct ? Kevin Redding, England UK

Answer
Kevin, if your flight is booked thru the cruise line, you won't have a problem because if your flight is a bit late they will hold the ship for your arrival. The airport is only 15 min away from the port.  If however you have booked this flight yourself, you are cutting your time WAY too fine in that you will need to get your luggage, clear customs (at times quick, many times SLOW)find a taxi that will take you to the port. After you arrive at the port, you'll be in a queque to check in, then have your picture taken, the board.
Frankly, it's not worth and stress.  If you've booked yourself, I would do an earlier flight, or come in the day ahead of time.

That's my opinion, especially when you don't know what kind of weather you may have in the UK that may delay your trip, or even a rainstorm in Florida that may delay your landing.
