Question
My wife and I will set sail aboard the Spirit for our second Carnival cruise on January 12th.  We are embarking with two other couples and we have 3 balcony rooms all next to each other on the main deck (8B)5203.  On our last cruise aboard the Carnival Victory, we went with one other couple and had balcony rooms next to each other.  The balconies had dividers that could be opened up to make one larger balcony.  We thought that was really great and we are hoping that the Spirit has similar dividers between the balconies.  We have heard from one source that the balconies on the Spirit do not open like those on the Victory.  Do you know any different?

Answer
Randy, I don't know the answer to that, but I can give you a website where you can get your questions answered.  Log on to CRUISECRITIC.COM, choose BOARDS, then scroll down to the box listing Carnival, click on that heading, then you can post your question.  It's a terrific site with much traffic, so someone will have been aboard the Spirit and will know.(you'll need to join the site, but it's free.  Also after you post your question, scroll to the bottom of the page, you can check the box that will deliver answers to your personal e mail)

I agree, it's a lot of fun to open the dividers and chat with your friends.  We'll be sailing on the Victory in September.  I'm sorry I could not be of more help.
