Carnival/Weather
Expert: Linda - 10/18/2006
QuestionI am going on a 7 day cruise on Carnival starting on April 14th. What kind of temperatures can I expect in that time of the year. I will be doing a eastern carribean from Port Canaveral. I will be going to the following ports, Nassau, St. Thomas/ St. John and St. Maarten. This is my first cruise and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Misty
AnswerMisty, April is the PERFECT time for taking a cruise. The kids are still in school, the weather will be in the mid to high 80's, clear sunny skies and no hurricanes. The ports you are going to are beautiful, especially St Thomas and St. John. St Maarten has wonderful beaches as well.
As always, there is a slight chance you'll have cool weather, so I always pack a sweater, sweatshirt and light jacket. Our winters have been VERY mild the past few years. But if you're from up North, what I call COOL is anything under 80. Cold is anything under 70
Enjoy your cruise, you'll be hooked after your first one.
