Question
hi linda   i am going on a cruise in august 15-19 2005  and i will being coming from memphis to miami  and i need to know how i can go about finding out prices from the airport to the miami port that is not expensive

Answer
Tasha, the BEST prices for hotels in Miami near the port, log into PRICELINE.COM.  You put in the price you want to pay and if there is a hotel that will accept that, you've got your room.  Be forwarned though, you CANNOT change your mind, your hotel or anything else once booked.

Log onto CRUISECRITIC.COM, you'll need to register (free) and choose CARNIVAL from your choices and you'll find posts there regarding the same thing.  All the hotels Priceline uses are top quality, I've not heard a single complaint from anyone.  We even use it when we're going down overnight to meet with friends who are cruising so we don't need to drink and drive.  Miami right now is a mess with construction, but, since you're not driving, that won't be a problem.  You'll be able to walk to Bayside, or take a cab, on week-ends there's always bands playing. They have hard rock cafe, Hooters and a bunch of shopping and restaurants.  You can also take a cruise of the rich and famous homes from down there as well.  Coconut Grove is a happening place and about 10 min away.  South Beach is further away and REALLY expensive, both by cab and prices at the bars, but it's an option as well.

Please drop me a note at LSauls7537@aol.com and let me know how you made out.  If I can help in any other way, just ask.

FORGOT ON THE ORIGINAL POST, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET A ROOM FOR $55-60. SORRY ABOUT THAT
