Questionhi i would love to hear about your cruising experiences your favorite lines you least favorite lines what you liked what you didnt. thanks.
AnswerThis is a tough question, cause' I don't think there is a bad cruise, but I'll tell you the things that were important to us in cruising. We've going on our 24 cruise in March. We like March and September through December, less crowds, not as hot and usually better prices during this time and more selection of ships (during the summer many ships are in Alaska). For best food, Royal Caribbean and Princess are about equal. Carnival has decent food and some outstanding soups and desserts, but not on the same caliber as RC and Princess. For most "stuff" to do during sea days...Carnival hands down. Best entertainment, Princess hands down, very professional shows and lots of varieties. Best embarkation and debarkation (less hassle), Royal Caribbean, bars are open and lots of places to sit while waiting to get off the ship. We would not sail on the Melody atain (Mediterranean shipping cruises, food was basic cafeteria food, announcements made in 6 languages and 2 2/1 hours to board the ship) although they do offer a great price and some neat ports. If I had to choose just one cruise line for allover best it would be Royal Caribbean, they do have the most friendly crew, will remember your name, varied age crowd. All use the same companies for port tours, so that's not a factor. Princess and Carnival have more options for dining if you don't like to hit the dining room every night. Princess has a neat bistro restaurant, you order from a menu, just as good as the dining room. Ask away if you have any more questions
